Why Successful Entrepreneurs Choose Extra Help in Their Business
Nowadays, business owners are looking for supportive solutions for generating more profits. Entrepreneurs, who succeed in their business, perform two things very well:
- They proceed with business objectives strategically.
- They make utilization of the resources available and remain positive with the outcome.
As your business starts to grow, your workload starts increasing and at the end of the day, you think:
“How can I manage this pressure all on my own?”
If you analyse this situation well, you would understand that you need an alternative to hiring a full-time employee. So, what is the best option for you?
Seek help from a virtual assistant and achieve more than your expectations.
Wondering who are Virtual Assistants?
In the simplest sense of the term, virtual assistants are self-employed experts, who work for clients from a remote location. With specific skills sets, they can serve multiple clients and work on different projects. They work according to the specifications provided by the client and offer a wide range of affordable services. With their top-notch assistance, you’ll get things done easily and within the deadline.
So, Why Successful Entrepreneurs Choose Extra Help in Their Business?
VA’s push Business Growth:
You cannot work on all the tasks yourself. Having an “EXTRA HAND” on projects is essential to your business growth. COLLABORATION is a powerful tool that will take your business to the next level. Your business can flourish with strategic partnerships and shared interests.
Decreased Operational Costs:
By having a VA, you save expenses for office space, maintenance cost and additional expenses.
As a business owner, your important tasks can often get overshadowed due to your jam-packed schedule. In such circumstances, VA’s might come handy, as they can focus on several crucial tasks. VA’s can decrease your work-related stress, and help you keep everything organized. They make sure that these tasks get completed within the stipulated time frame.
Focus on The Core Operations:
As an entrepreneur, you need more time to focus on your core business functions. On the other hand, not everything requires your direct attention. You can manage it all by simply asking your VA to take care of your routine tasks. They would provide personal as well as administrative support, providing you with more time to focus on the most crucial aspects.
“Every successful entrepreneur knows that his or her achievement depends on a community of persons working together”– Paul Ryan

Blogging drives traffic to your website
The content you create for your blog can be shared on all your social media platforms. If it’s good-quality, valuable information, people will be encouraged to click through to your website to learn more about your products and services.
Blogging can increase your SEO
If you use keywords in your blog posts, you can enhance your organic search results. Search engines use content to help them determine the subject of web pages. By continually adding fresh content to your site, you make it easier for these search engines to index your page correctly.
Blogging establishes you as an industry authority
Sharing industry information with your customers is the perfect way to demonstrate your knowledge and skills. It sets you up as a leader in your field while giving you the opportunity to market your product or service in a subtle way. With a blog post you can simultaneously educate your customers and provide them with useful information about your business.
Blogging helps you build a community
Your blog provides your customers with a place to ask questions, share opinions and engage with you. This makes it the ideal place to build a loyal following. All the comments remain on your site permanently, which means that new visitors will be able to see them. Compare this to social media where any posts or comments are quickly lost in the ever changing newsfeed.

Need inspiration? Who better than Mel Robbins to help you with that?
For this women’s month I have decided to feature a woman that truly inspires me in life and business. She has adopted a no-BS lifestyle that has brought her to where she is today.
If you haven’t heard about the 5-second rule, you probably don’t know who Mel Robbins is.
How Mel started out
Mel started out in a legal career at the Public Defender, left her job and moved to Boston so her husband could finish his MBA. She then worked for a law firm and hated it. After maternity leave she didn’t go back and worked in a couple of tech startups which she enjoyed. Even though she enjoyed her job she felt like something was missing so she started seeing a life coach which inspired her to become one herself. She started studying towards a certificate in life coaching, qualified and started her career. When Ink magazine did a feature on her business she got a call from a big shot at CNBC for a job and that’s how her media career kicked off. After having some issues with a deal with FOX everything came to an abrupt end. Due to her contract restraints with them she couldn’t do anything in the media business for a year. She felt like such a failure that she didn’t see it fit to go back to coaching. On top of that her husband’s restaurant business was going under. Her world was falling apart. One night she decided she’d had enough. That morning when her alarm went off she didn’t hit snooze ten times as she usually did, she counted 5-4-3-2-1, launched herself out of bed and started putting the pieces of her life back together. Today her achievements are awe-inspiring.
Where Mel Robbins is today
Through utilizing her own 5-second rule, Mel became one of the most booked speakers in the world. Motivating people across the globe to get up and show up. She’s the CEO and Co-Founder of The Confidence Project which is a media and digital learning company. She is the Creator and Presenter of the Audible Series Kick ass with Mel Robbins. In 2017 she published best seller The 5-Second Rule. It was named the number one audiobook in the world and the fifth most read book on Amazon. Her TedX Talk has been viewed on YouTube by over 14 million people. She runs an award winning YouTube series #MelRobbinsLive giving advice and telling people about her life as a travelling CEO, motivational speaker, wife and mother of three. On top of that she’s a CNN commentator as well.
The 5-second rule helped her to get her life back on track after she was dealt a bad hand and got stuck in a rut. It teaches us that everything is achievable if you have the right mindset.
I’ve been following her on YouTube and getting daily motivation from her talks and advice. I can recommend her to anyone that’s hungry for success or that needs to get back in the saddle and start kicking butt and taking names!
As my greatest role model this is who I aspire to be
This blog was the most challenging things I have ever had to write about. How does one put into words how one really feels about one’s mother without sounding like fake news!
Celebrating inspirational woman in your life
The object of this blog was to celebrate an inspirational woman in your life. One of the most important women in my life is my mother. In my eyes, she is everything I strive to be. A lady, beautiful both inside and out and an example to any woman who wants to be known for her grace, her beauty, compassion and love of life. This is the woman that I am blessed and proud to call my mom. Having always been very close I never knew anything other than a relationship with no secrets and but where giggles and laughter ring through the air, even when times have been tough and relationships have been strained.
Growing up, my mother always told me that women are resilient and can do anything they put their minds to, purely because they are women. This has always been tucked away in the back of my mind and it makes me push myself harder to prove myself and make her proud. In her eyes, I have always been perfect! When times get tough and I find myself struggling, I close my eyes and think “I can do this, I do not need anyone and I will get through this simply because I am a woman, my mother’s child”.
Lessons to be learned
My mother always told me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that people need to look past the exterior and look inside the soul of the person to know what type of person they truly are. I have prided myself in making sure that I see the person not just the outside. A lesson taught to me by a very wise woman.
I get very emotional writing about my mother as I do not know how to accurately express what she means to me. I have always been sublimely confident in her love. There have been times in my life when I was reminded of her sacrifices so that her family could have, of her silent tears and heartaches that she kept from the world to make sure that she provided a happy, secure and loving home to nurture her family.
The role of a mother
Being a mother is a job that one takes very seriously. Despite the tremendous responsibility that it carries, the love and joy that is brings must never be forgotten. No matter the age you are, you will always be your mother’s child. They say that when one is born the most important bond that is formed, is the one between mother and child, a bond that is formed for life, it will mould you into the person you will become. Well, I think that I hit the jackpot I have been truly blessed to call her my mother and my best friend. I love you ma!
5 Interesting things to explore when visiting Cape Town
Welcome to Cape Town my hometown. Perched between the ocean and the iconic Table Mountain, which serves as a backdrop to the “Mother City”.
Table Mountain using the Aerial Cableway
The Cableway takes you to the summit in under 5 minutes and allows you a 360 degree full view of the city and the mountain. Go early to avoid long queues and wait for a sunny day or you may get lost in the fog. Everyone gets a fair view through the open windows, as the car rotates as it travels, so very clever, and amazing views.
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens
Situated on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch is internationally acclaimed as one of the seven most magnificent botanical gardens in the world. The 528 hectares estate includes a cultivated garden and a nature reserve. The developed garden displays collections of southern African plants including many rare and endangered species. The Treetop Path is an amazing treetop walking path that allows you to meander through the foliage, and peer down through the canopy.
Robben Island is situated about 10km offshore from Cape Town. The name “Robben Island” was given by Dutch settlers and roughly translated means “Island of seals”. It is accessed by ferries that depart from the V&A Waterfront. Many visitors come with some understanding of the prison, but seeing Mandela’s tiny cell and viewing Table Mountain from the island will give you a far deeper perspective than any history book could ever achieve. Whether you are visiting Cape Town for the first time or you are a local wanting to explore the city’s history, a visit to Robben Island is highly recommended.
Penguins at Boulders Bay
Just around the corner from the seaside village of Simons Town is the famous colony of African Penguins. Once called Jackass Penguins for their hilarious braying call. After you have fallen in love with the penguins head to the secluded Boulders Beach and take a swim in the comparatively warm waters of the False Bay.
Swimming with penguins at Boulders Beach, is a real thrill. A small public beach is set apart from the main penguin colony that resides here, but that doesn’t stop the penguins from sitting on your beach towel or darting around your legs while you take a refreshing dip in the Ocean. A boardwalk has been built around the dunes so you can get a great close-up look at the entire colony eating, breeding, preening, swimming, and chatting away.
Right in the middle of the bustling CBD of Cape Town you will find The Company’s Garden. Started by the Dutch East India Company way back in 1652, this beautiful laid-out garden provides a cool, leafy break from the city noise. Beside its green lawns, huge trees and cooling fountains and ponds, it’s all set about with fascinating places to visit.
The Company’s Garden is home to an overwhelming amount of fauna. There are the famous squirrels, who you can purchase bags of nuts to feed. There are pigeons, Egyptian geese, herons, and rodents, and there is even an aviary where dozens of species of birds can be viewed. I love feeding the squirrels, who will scamper right up to you for a snack.
