Do you feel like you’re stuck in a business rut?

Do you recall that moment when you decided to become a fully-fledged entrepreneur? When you set aside all your fears and just decided to go for it? You were on a mission to change the world, to bring back better business practice, enjoy the freedom of being your own boss, enjoying greater work-life balance and having the ease to work when you wanted to.

Have you achieved all of this and now feel like you’ve reached a plateau in business? Most entrepreneurs reach this point, where you feel like it’s a point of no return, like you’re stuck and you don’t know how to become un-stuck.

Well I’m here to help you navigate through this maze, how to become un-stuck in your business and to get that chutzpah back again! Most entrepreneurs may experience this rut, however, most entrepreneurs are also able to move out of it.

So what is the solution? First, you need to take a step back, investigate where the problem lies, what caused this to start with. Right now forget about everything, just focus on you. It’s the only way you can truly start moving out of this rut you’re experiencing.

Follow these 3 steps to help you move forward.

Life is made up of choices

Understand that you have a choice in life, in whatever you do. And because you can choose you can change. Make small changes in your day, in your attitude towards challenges. Maybe you want to revamp your brand, or change your marketing message, or even broaden your client base. Make incremental changes, get input from current clients and suppliers, and gradually work towards making greater changes.

Strive for perfection, but know you don’t need to be perfect

If we want to be perfect we may end up setting ourselves up for failure. On the other hand, if we strive to be perfect, it means we can offer the best possible service, the best person that we can be, without the fear of disappointment. Be great at what you do, take pride in your business and offer a great client experience.

Take deep introspection

Take an even further step back and become really self-aware of you, your thoughts, your mindset, who you surround yourself with. With introspection you can determine what makes you truly happy and what is holding you back. Spend quality me-time, praise yourself often, treat yourself with compassion. The better you feel about yourself and the better you treat yourself, the easier it will be to move away from this rut you’re experiencing and go onto greater things!
