How to make your clients work load easier

I have found that once you have got to know the person that you are working with  and you know their likes and dislikes, dealing with them is so much easier.  Each person is different and needs to be treated differently, so it is best to find out all you can about them.

Whatever work they give you to do, do it as quickly and accurately as you can. Try to eliminate errors, thereby saving time and money.

When I have to make phone calls on behalf of my client, I will follow up until I get what it is that they need answers to.  As they get to know me, they know that I will carry on until I have those answers.  They can then get on with what is important to them, safe in the knowledge that I will deliver.

If, for instance, they are house hunting, I will find out what area they are looking at, what type of house they are looking for, how many pets they have, how much they are prepared to pay in rent or buy for.  Then I contact the Property Agents in that area and ask them to put me on their lists for the kind of house that my client is looking for. If I see one that I think they will like, I make an appointment for them to go and look, thereby  saving them time and effort.

When doing research for them, give them all the relevant information.  Again, when you know them, you will know how they want it written up and that saves them time too.  They don’t have to tell you what to do.

If you are asked to buy gifts, find out how much they are willing to pay, what kind of gift it is that they are looking for.  I have become quite the expert on wine, whiskey, and other alcohols !  Not bad for a nondrinker !

The main objective as a Virtual Assistant is to keep your client happy in the knowledge that you have his/her best interests at heart.

If they are an entrepreneur or a business man/woman, having a VA working for you is definitely the way to go, we take the load off your shoulders, leaving you to pursue your dreams and fulfil your ambitions.
